"People don't realize how bad it is for your body and mind when you just pop one in your mouth. When you're on drugs that make you feel as good as this, it comes to a point when you just don't care anymore. It Happened To Me (Click for the complete story.)
Ethyl alcohol (ethanol) is the active ingredient in alcoholic drinks. Take any alcoholic beverage and remove the ingredients that give it taste and color, and you have ethyl alcohol. Remove the water and you have ether. Ether dulls the senses and puts the brain to sleep. Alcohol is a drug.

Cocaine comes from the leaves of the coca plant. It is used as a white crystalline powder (cocaine) or as an off-white chunky material (crack).
The powder is often "cut" (diluted) with other substances.
Crack is processed into tiny chips having the appearance of slivers of soap with the pure look of porcelain or small chunks of plaster. Crack is a purer form of cocaine.
Ecstasy, "XTC," "E," "X," "hug drug," "MDMA" and "Adam"
Ecstasy/MDMA is 3,4- Methylenedioxymethamphetamine. The synthetic drugs are produced in clandestine laboratories with the purity and potency unknown. Chemically it is similar to the stimulant methamphetamine and the hallucinogen mescaline.
PMA (paramethoxyamphetamine) is a stimulant and synthetic hallucinogen that is similar to Ecstasy but more toxic.
GBL (Gamma Butyrolactone) and 1,4 BD (1,4-Butanediol) are commonly used in the production of industrial chemical, such as cleaners, adhesives, and paint thinner.
GBL is also used in the manufacture of GHB. A 55-gallon drum of GBL will produce 987.8 pounds of sodium GHB, which is equivalent to 98,780 dosage units of GHB.
Some abusers will consume small quantities of GBL and 1,4-BD straight, because once in the body the chemicals are converted into GHB. Straight consummation often produces a severe physical reaction.

"...Rape drugs make it relatively easy for rapists to gain control of their victims. Perpetrators do not have to overcome any form of resistance. They do not have to threaten to harm the victim to get compliance. Nor do they have to be concerned about a victim's screams attracting attention. The drugs they administer immobilize and silence the victim." Gail Abarbanel, Rape Treatment Center at Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center
GHB is produced in clandestine labs using a substance called Gamma Butyrolactone (GBL), an industrial solvent found in acetone-free nail polish removers, floor cleaning products and lye (sodium hydroxode). It is either a white- or sandy-colored powder or an odorless and colorless liquid. It tastes like salt water.
In 1990, the FDA banned GHB; prior to that it was available through health food stores and marketed as both a sleep aid and as a bodybuilding supplement.
What is industrial hemp?
"Industrial hemp and marijuana are the product of the same plant, Cannabis Sativa, and short of chemical analysis, there is no way to discriminate between marijuana-producing plants and hemp-producing plants. The seedlings are the same. Cannabis Sativa plants contain the psychoactive ingredient, delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol or THC."[i]
Generally, hemp contains the same amount of THC that marijuana contained in the 60s and 70s, 0.3%. Two cigarettes with this level THC can make a user "high." However, the Illinois State Police have found the "wild stuff (ditch weed) to be 0.1 to 0.9% THC."[ii] Many young people start their marijuana use by first smoking hemp or "ditchweed."
THC is a Schedule I controlled substance. It is a drug of abuse that currently has no medical use in treatment, has not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration and does not meet an accepted level of safety for use. Any product that causes THC to enter the body is an illegal substance that may not be manufactured, sold, or consumed in the United States.[iii]
Hemp can be smoked. "I am a concerned citizen and a rehabilitated ex-offender convicted of drug trafficking. While serving a sentence in a federal prison in Indiana, I learned about hemp growing wild near Valparaiso, IN. After prison, I would travel to Valparaiso and cut the hemp and sell it as 'marijuana.' None of my customers ever complained about the quality of the 'marijuana,' and they continued to buy from me."

"Throughout my freshman year of high school I experimented with other drugs and was introduced to heroin. I began to use it occasionally and it quickly progressed from a weekend occurrence, to every couple of days, to daily use. I continued to smoke pot and drink on a regular basis but heroin became my drug of choice." Emptiness In My Soul (Click for the complete story.)
Heroin is a white powder that is synthetically produced from morphine. Morphine is a naturally occurring substance extracted from the seed pod of poppy plants.
Pure heroin is white and has a bitter taste. However, most illicit heroin varies in color from white to dark brown due to processing and the presence of additives. Pure heroin is rarely sold on the streets. According to the Drug Enforcement Administration the purity of the heroin on the street ranges from 10 to 70 percent. Heroin can be "cut" (diluted) with sugars, starch, powdered milk or quinine.
"Black tar" heroin is produced in Mexico and may be sticky like roofing tar or hard like coal. It is dark brown to black.

"The boy's family found him lying dead on the floor of their Spring Hill home. It appeared he had been purposely inhaling the vapors of a carburetor cleaning fluid - one of countless household substances that can provide abusers with a dangerous high."St. Petersburg Times, Florida, January 8, 2002
Inhalants are gases or vapors from volatile solvents and substances found in common household and commercial products which are intentionally breathed.

"An alarming number of veterinary clinics continue to be targeted by thieves seeking Ketamine, a drug prized on the club scene for its euphoric and hallucinatory effects. The robberies follow a similar pattern: one or more people show up with a sickly looking dog, usually without an appointment, Ketamine is then demanded from the veterinarian at gunpoint." Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association, September 15, 2001
Ketamine is a dissociative general anesthetic for human and veterinary use but is most commonly used on animals. It is generally stolen from veterinarians. Ketamine comes in vials of liquid that is typically poured onto hot plates and dried to a white crystalline powder, soluble in water or other liquids. The powder comes from allowing the liquid to evaporate and then grinding the residue into a powder. It looks similar to cocaine.
When Ketamine is used on humans for anesthetic purposes it is used in conjunction with Valium-like compounds (benzodiazepines); combining the two drugs suppresses the hallucinogenic effects.
Ketamine is a Schedule III substance under the Federal Controlled Substances Act, meaning that it has a potential for abuse, currently has an accepted medical use, and abuse may lead to moderate or low physical dependence or high psychological dependence.

LSD/Lysergic Acid Diethylamide is manufactured from lysergic acid, a substance derived from ergot fungus, which grows on rye and other grains or acid amide, a chemical found in morning glory seeds.
Characteristics: LSD is so potent that it can be absorbed through skin contact alone. It is the most potent hallucinogen.
It is odorless, colorless and has a slightly bitter taste.
It takes 30 to 90 minutes for LSD to take effect and can last up to 12 hours.
